The Williamsburg Inn is regularly ranked among the nation's great hotels. The original part of the Inn was constructed in 1937 and completed a major renovation in 2001. Decorated in English Regency style, the hotel offers gourmet dining as well as afternoon tea and a host of amenities: relaxing massage services in the fitness club, an outdoor swimming pool, championship golf, tennis courts, lawn bowling and croquet.

While the main building is limited to two guests per room, Providence Hall provides rooms that can accommodate families of four.

You might also consider staying in one of the Colonial Houses, which have been restored or reconstructed within the Historic Area. Ideal for guests who wish to fully immerse themselves in the 18th century, the Houses are furnished with authentic period reproductions and antiques. Each Colonial House has a unique history and appeal of its own.

Credit Cards accepted are American Express, Visa and MasterCard. All reservation requests must have the first and last name of an adult. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO RENT A ROOM. Valid ID (identification) required upon check-in.

Bed type, smoking preference and other requests are noted but are not guaranteed and will be honored on a space-available basis. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy (except during the Holiday Season -- see below).

There is a 40-day cancellation policy for Thanksgiving, Grand Illumination and Christmas. You will receive a full refund if reservation is cancelled no later than 40 days prior to arrival. During the Holiday Season, the following minimum stays are required: Grand Illumination (sm) -- 3-night minimum for the Williamsburg Inn, Providence Hall, the Colonial Houses -- Historic Lodging, the Williamsburg Lodge and the Woodlands Hotel & Suites.
